Important points to note

US casinos to reopen after COVID

As the land casinos reopen there are some very important points to note

New health and social-distancing measures include temperature checks for guests and employees and masks or face coverings will be required for everyone.

You will be asked to bring your own masks, and will also be available at the facilities for a small donation supporting local first responders, health care providers, and COVID patient relief.

To accommodate social distancing, casinos will be limiting the number of guests on the floor to roughly one-third of normal operations.

Many casinos in the state have reopened or are getting ready to reopen under a “Safer At Home” order that was recently expanded to include casinos, camps and theaters. The state’s stay-at-home order was in place through May.

Casinos have to present a safety plan, keep capacity at 30%, have eight feet between slots and other gaming machines and disinfect those machines every 15 minutes to two hours.

You might have to wait in line to get in the casinos as limited players allowed.

The poker room will have 50% capacity (23 of 46 tables); active tables with Plexiglass dividers; games run at a maximum of 6 handed; and employees and guests required to wear masks (gloves are optional); and cards and chips are to be cleaned on a regular basis.

You need to sanitize your hands after playing and before playing at slot machines or at gaming tables. Hand sanitizers will be provided.

US casinos to reopen under safety measures

There will be touchless cellphone check-ins

As said above Plastic partitions will separate mask-wearing dealers and three players at blackjack tables.

Employees and guests will be able to use newly installed handwashing stations.

Don’t expect to grab a slot machine next to your sweetheart or best friend.

Gambling will be more solitary, and occupancy limits in gaming areas will be cut in half.

Tourists will see chairs and stools in front of every other gaming machine.

Social distancing needs to be maintained and you cannot gather in groups at gaming tables.

All restaurants, bars and shops and the casino floor will have plenty of signs reminding guests about distancing.

At casino restaurants and bars you will have to wait for your turn as stand-in waiting period.

You can expect digital menus to view on mobile devices. To stop groups congregating while you wait for a table, texts will notify guests when your seats are ready.

Clubs at casinos are not to reopen as of now.

Now that you know which casinos are reopening this month and coming months, you can prepare yourself ahead of time if you want to visit. What we advise is to play at online casinos with real USD and win real money so as to avoid taking risk venturing out for the time being.
